Egypt’s country data showcase data visualization for population, economics, language, geography, climate, and history in comparison to other countries. While designing this 30in. by 55in. poster, I based the color palette off of Egyptian wall paintings and plant illustrations. I used iconography a lot to give a nod to the Egyptian hieroglyph, the source of modern iconography.
This project was designed under the guidance of Doug Scott, the teacher of Mapping Information, and Weixi Zheng, an MFA student who specializes in motion graphics and infographics.
